ANIMATORS - Rock and Rule Production Crew Reunion at TAAFI 2012

Tonight TAAFI proudly presented Nelvana's first home-grown animated feature film, Rock & Rule, which features the music of Cheap Trick, Deborah Harry, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed and was directed by Clive A. Smith. This was a rare public screening of a Canadian cult classic in addition to an equally rare PRODUCTION CREW REUNION Q&A SESSION, which followed the film! This was a part of Canadian film-going history!!
Rock & Rule takes place in a dystopian future following a cataclysmic war; a war that has eradicated humankind, but created a new breed of inhabitants – mutated versions of dogs, cats and rats – in its place. In this world, the music of aging rock superstar Mok rules the airwaves and home-grown bands such as Omar's aspire to become as popular as he is.
