I checked out the Sailer Moon Cosplay Chess this morning.  It turned out to be an epic three hour adventure.  I shot some video footage as well that I'll be posting later this week.

Here are a couple pics from the Cosplay Chess Game.  I'll load more tonight.

  1. This is fantastic!! I'll be keeping an eye out for more, is it possible to get an email copy of some of the photos and video? I was the Beryl/MC for this game and I'm glad someone got pictures and video, its so hard to tell what we look or sound like when we're walking around XD

  2. Hey Erin,

Yes, absolutely! You're welcome to all the video footage and any of the pics that you want. I have a ton more pics to post still. I'm working my way through them slowly :) Fire me an email using the contact form on this site and we'll sort something out.

  3. These pictures of the Sailor Moon Cosplay Battle Chess are great! My friend and I were the two dragons. He was Sparky and I was Cornwall. Hope to see some video clips of the battle scenes.

  4. Sorry that I'm a year late. Is it possible to see video of this event? I was Katara and was the first to be eliminated but it was great that Tuxedo Mask took my down with a rose. :)

Dave and Ava Nursery Rhymes now on YouTube

Dave and Ava Nursery Rhymes isn't a Canadian production, but that doesn't mean they don't enjoy Canadian animated content. When asked what Canadian animation they are most drawn to they responded by saying:

"We find inspiration in lots of animation art produced in Canada! Frédéric Back is just one of many animators that we love. His short film Crac is pure joy! It's hard to define what exactly makes it so charming - maybe it is lack of dialogues, or expressionistic drawing style with plenty of nice details, or maybe that it's fun to see the world through the eyes of a wheelchair!"
